About Route 3 Apothecary
The prairie grass swayed in the breeze. The trees beckoned to be climbed. The path of coal that told the story of a once-bustling railroad led me from my backyard to the back of the pasture, where I would sit and watch nature for hours.
This was Rural Route 3.
It was a tiny little spot in the universe that had cool grass I would sink my feet into, dandelions that called on me to make a wish, and endless amounts of flora and fauna to explore.
This is where the seeds of my captivation with nature were sowed.
